About SHIFT Syndicate
Why We Built This
“The best professionals in the world shouldn’t have to split their earnings with anyone.”— Jeff Bernardini, Co-FounderMeet the team behind SHIFT_
SHIFT_ was founded in 2025 by a stylist and a technologist who kept watching the same problem play out: the most skilled independent professionals in North America running their entire business out of Instagram DMs and paper calendars.
Commission platforms take a sizeable cut of every booking. Every “free” tool locks you into their ecosystem. The infrastructure that enterprise companies take for granted — scheduling, payments, CRM, AI assistants — simply didn’t exist for independent operators.
So we built it. Zero commission. Flat fee. AI agent included. SHIFT_ is live across Canada — open to every service sector.
